Family Homes Funds Limited (FHFL), Nigeria’s leading affordable housing finance institution, has unveiled its new corporate identity, marking a significant milestone in its institutional evolution and reinforcing its ambition to expand access to sustainable and inclusive housing finance across Nigeria.
The rebrand reflects FHFL’s expanding role within Nigeria’s housing finance ecosystem, while reaffirming its enduring commitment to making safe, decent, and affordable homes accessible to more Nigerians.
With Nigeria’s housing deficit estimated at approximately 15 million units, addressing the challenge requires more than the construction of houses. It demands innovative financing solutions, sustained investment, strategic partnerships, and an enabling environment that makes homeownership and decent housing attainable for a broader segment of the population.
These priorities remain central to FHFL’s operations and strategic direction.

The new FHFL logo brings together the two “F” elements in Family Homes Funds, intersecting around the silhouette of a home. The design captures the relationship between families, housing, and the financing that makes affordable homeownership possible.
Its solid structure conveys security, trust, and institutional strength, while its upward composition and carefully selected colour palette represent growth, hope, and sustainability.
Speaking on the significance of the rebrand, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of FHFL, Abdul-Mutallab Mukhtar, said:
“While our brand identity is evolving, our commitment to expanding access to affordable housing in Nigeria remains unchanged. Our focus continues to be on developing innovative housing finance solutions, strengthening partnerships, and creating more opportunities for Nigerians to access safe, decent, and affordable homes. This new chapter reflects our continued ambition to deepen our impact and contribute meaningfully to Nigeria’s housing sector.”
Since commencing operations, FHFL has financed more than 15,900 homes, supported the creation of over 104,000 direct and indirect jobs, and established a project footprint spanning 70 sites across 19 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
These achievements underscore the transformative potential of housing finance not only in addressing housing needs but also in stimulating economic activity, creating employment, and supporting inclusive national development.
Beyond expanding housing access, FHFL continues to recognise sustainability as an essential component of responsible housing delivery. Through the integration of environmental, social, and governance considerations into its financing activities, alongside support for alternative building technologies, the institution is contributing to the development of more sustainable and resilient housing solutions.
As FHFL advances into this next chapter, it remains committed to working with developers, financial institutions, government partners, and communities to mobilise investment, strengthen housing delivery systems, and expand access to decent and affordable homes.
The unveiling of the new identity represents more than a visual transformation. It signals an institution positioning itself for greater impact, broader partnerships, and a more sustainable future for housing in Nigeria.
FHFL’s identity is new, but its purpose remains the same: helping more Nigerians access safe, decent, and affordable homes.
