Home Ownership Fund

Whatever stage of life you’re at, there’s a home-financing pathway built for you, starting from a minimum 10% deposit instead of the usual 20%.

For most Nigerian families, the obstacle to owning a home isn’t the monthly repayment but the deposit: finding a fifth of the purchase price in cash, up front, while still paying rent.

The Home Ownership Fund (HOF) tackles this from every angle. Rather than a single product, HOF is four complementary financing windows for different kinds of buyer, sharing one goal: getting more Nigerians into a home of their own, sooner.

Depending on your income, employment and savings, you put down a minimum 10% of the price of your prospective home, and HOF, together with our funding and mortgage partners, funds the rest.

  • First-time home buyers
  • Low and middle income households
