Land and Infrastructure Development Fund

Building Nigeria’s cities, sustainably and inclusively.

Nigeria has a scarcity of serviced land. Thousands of hectares sit undeveloped because the cost of access roads, drainages, water and power cannot be funded from state budgets and developers cannot cover it inside a project’s budget.

The Land and Infrastructure Development Fund (LIDF) is FHFL’s platform for bridging the infrastructure financing gap and structuring housing-enabling infrastructure to accelerate the delivery of affordable, sustainable and economically viable housing at scale.

  • Primary housing infrastructure
  • Bulk and corridor infrastructure
  • Community and social infrastructure
  • Economic and productive infrastructure
  • 2,000+ ha land bank

Housing for Police

FHFL is collaborating with the Nigerian Police Trust Fund (NPTF) and private investors to facilitate the delivery of affordable housing for police officers across Nigeria. The initiative adopts a collaborative delivery model that leverages FHFL’s land resources and housing finance support, NPTF’s infrastructure provision and offtake coordination, and private-sector investment and construction capacity to promote efficient and affordable housing delivery.
